Come and join us to blow the cobwebs away, return our displays to looking their best using conservation cleaning techniques.
We’ll work Mondays/Tuesdays from mid- September within the Mossman galleries.
Training will be given.
What's involved?
- Object handling of collection items
- Opening display cases and cleaning the glass
- Conservation cleaning using brushes, vacuums and microfibre cloths on mixed surfaces
- Applying wax to protect
Monday :- 21st September and 28th September
Tuesday :- 22nd September and 29th September
If you can commit to Monday/Tuesdays from mid-September (4x sessions in total) or at least one day per fortnight 10am to 3:30pm, we’d love to hear from you!
