Wardown Summer Crafts and Events Support

During the Summer the team at Wardown are planning a full programme of events . Mostly on the weekends but also some during the week.

We have a large full day on the 29th July- for the whole family, South Asian dance performances. Music and games and crafts.

The rest of dates are filled with :-

Arts and crafts for children .

Arts and crafts for 16+

African drumming and story telling for children and so much more.

So much so we need some support from our fabulous Museum Makers!

Helping with setting up for arts and crafts and supporting other events over the Summer..

Meeting and greeting visitors to our craft session.

Supporting artists with different craft sessions from mosaic, to crochet and more.

Our programme starts on the 25^th July and runs through to the end of August.

31^st July 11am-1.30pm

1^st August 11am -4pm

8^th August 11am-4pm

10^th August 11am – 4pm

15^th August 11am -4pm

16^th August 11.30am – 4pm

22^nd August 11am – 4pm

24^th August 11am -3pm

29^th August 11am-4pm

You must be 17years + to be able to volunteer.

You would be supporting the team at Wardown to make Summer a special time for both the museum and for our visitorrs.

Getting to meet new people, learn new skills and enjoy the surroundings of the museum.

Learn a new craft.

See some fabulous performances whilst helping out.
